Carpets and upholstery are not wet after extraction cleaning, but they are damp since the powerful extractor thoroughly removes the cleaning solution from the areas cleaned. Despite this it is necessary to let the cleaned area dry. The drying time depends on the structure of the carpet's tread layer, the length of the hairs, the temperature and humidity and the level of ventilation. The approximate time ranges between 2-4 hours.
The important thing is to ensure ventilation whilst cleaning and drying the carpet.
If you are cleaning a large surface area of carpets in commercial premises we recommend that you clean the carpets before the weekend so they have time to dry out sufficiently!
